Lake Tjörnin is located next to the city hall in Reykjavik. In the winter it’s almost completely frozen if not for a small corner where the ducks and swans swam.
It’s a popular spot for bird watching and feeding. Along the lake you can see picturesque views of the colourful architecture in Reykjavik. It’s a beautiful site to see such colourful houses in between the grey skies and the frozen lake.
