Vintage Shopping in Berlin

November 23, 2016

In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m kinda obsessed with vintage, sustainable and eco shopping. When it comes to the latter, Berlin has it all. Vegan supermarkets, shoe shops, ethically made-in-Germany clothing shops, you name it. But when it comes to vintage stores, there’s only a select few that caught my attention. If you’re interested in vintage clothes, definitely check out the places listed below.

Made in Berlin

Made in Berlin is one of the most famous, traditionally vintage shops in Berlin. They stock exactly what you would expect from fun and funky printed shirts, second-hand jeans and a variety of scarfs that look like they’ve just been stolen from Grandma’s bonnet.Address: Friedrichstrasse 114A, Mitte Nearest Station: Oranienburger Tor Opening Times: Mon – Fri 12pm – 7pm Sat – 12pm – 8pm Price Range: €10 – €70

Garments

Although certainly not the cheapest option, Garments is an upscale boutique where you can find vintage pieces from designers such as Givenchy and Chanel on racks organised by colours and moods. If you love vintage clothes but hate the hassle of sorting through piles of ugly pieces, you don’t have to worry about that in Garments as they pride themselves on stocking the best of the best. Although finding a bargain amongst the credit-card-eating clothes isn’t an easy task, but it is possible so make sure to keep your eyes pealed.Address: Linienstrasse 204-205, Mitte Nearest Station: U Rosenthalen Platz Opening Times: Mon-Sat 12pm – 7pm Price Range: €30 – €300 Official Website: http://www.garments-vintage.de/

Dress Code

Dress Code is a stylish underground boutique with plenty of chic options if you’re interested in wacky prints, embarrassing Christmas jumpers and flashy neon shirts. Score a bargain with the second-hand accessories such as the 20s style sunglasses or the old, artisan jewellery.Address: Nostitzstraße 25, 10961 Berlin, Germany Nearest Station: Gneisenaustraße Opening Times: Mon – Sat 12pm – 7pm Price Range: €10 – €40

Allet Schick

Allet Schick is one of the smaller, trendy boutiques with a wide range of beautiful items for both men and women at cheap prices. Though small, there are two floors chock-full of wonderful and wacky designs, overflowing from within. Take a look at some of the accessories, hats and shoes for some alternative bargains.Address: Bergmannstraße 90, 10961 Berlin, Germany Nearest Station: Gneisenaustraße Opening Times: Tue – Sat 11am – 7pm Price Range: €10 – €40
