Oslo’s Magnificent Opera House

January 11, 2017

The opera house is certainly a magnificent building in Norway’s Capital. Made with marble and white granite it was built to give the illusion of an iceberg sticking out the water.

Construction started in 2003 and ended in 2007, 300 Million NOK under budget and has since opened it’s doors to millions of visitors including the King and Queen of Denmark, the president of Finland and other world leaders. What I love about the Opera House is the stylish Nordic interior. The warm oak contrasts with the stark white exterior and is typical of this Nordic design.
