Crazy Three Days in Malta

March 1, 2018

Last year I suggested to Mum that we should buy each other holidays for Christmas. The rules? They have to be European destinations, less than £60 to fly to for both of us and we only find out the destination on Christmas day. The only things we knew beforehand were the dates of the holiday and a few simple clues so we don’t book the same place. Continue Reading…

The Beauty of Valletta… From Sliema.

August 15, 2017

If you’re still on the raw vegan bandwagon, you’re one of the lucky ones and shouldn’t find Malta’s capital too difficult to navigate food-wise (if you can get over the unsafe drinking water situation that is). As for the rest of us, it can be difficult to find substantial meals in the meat eaters Mediterranean. Luckily, I’ve got you covered with a handy guide. Continue Reading…

Hiking the Island of Comino

February 14, 2017

The tiny Island of Comino is situated between Malta’s two largest islands, Malta and Gozo. It’s almost uninhabited (a total of four people live there!) and perfect for a peaceful weekend break, whether you’re camping, snorkeling, diving or windsurfing. As we were there in February, water sports were off the table and hiking seemed like a better option. Continue Reading…
