A Vegan’s Guide to Eating Out in Valletta

I think I’ve found the worst capital city in Europe to be a vegan in. Yeah, okay, I’ve never been to Chisinau so I don’t know for sure, but I swear Valletta must be in the top 10. I mean, if Happycow lists ‘Marks and Spencers’ as one of the options you know you’re in trouble.

Because Malta is a small island on the Mediterranean, they are understandably behind on the whole vegan food trend. Think that undersized, undercooked trend that was very fashionable a few years ago. If you’re still on the raw vegan bandwagon, you’re one of the lucky ones and shouldn’t find Malta’s capital too difficult to navigate food-wise (if you can get over the unsafe drinking water situation that is).
